Upgrading Android version on your mobile is very important. The upgraded android version will provide you more features and will keep you more secure. Below are the steps to upgrade Android version of your phone or tablet:
1. Go to “SETTINGS” of your Android Phone.
2. Now click on “About Phone” option at the bottom.
3. Now click on “System Updates” Or “Software Updates (in some mobiles)” option on next window.
4. You will be able to update your Android OS version from here. The option inside the windows differs on mobiles. However you can always click on “Check on updates”. If there are any updates available to download, the system will download and will ask you to install it.
The above given screens may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. There is also a chance that the latest android version does not support your mobile. In that case, no updates option will show up and you can’t upgrade to it new one.
If you are sure that your android mobile supports the latest android version and you are not able to update it via this method then you visit the android phone manufacturer’s website to download and install latest software if any available.
